Bleach problem...please help!!!?

I have very very light dyed blonde hair....platinum I suppose..and im fed up with it. I have been getting this done at the salon for over a year now. I also have it dyed dark brown underneath. My problem is that my hair is quite difficult to lift to this colour as my natural colour is mid brown. I find that my hair is constantly being overlapped with bleach and toner which is making it whiter. This meant that when I recently went to my hairdresser to get 7 week roots lifted (I cant go any quicker than this as the fine hairs at the front of my head started snapping off a few months ago) I was left with orangy roots. My hair dresser missed out the short hairs to let them grow this time and concentrated on the rest. She didnt leave the bleach on as long as normal which made my roots orangy. She recommended fudge whiter shade of pale toner which has lifted my roots a bit but are still orangy but also left parts of my hair a purply blue tone (I know this will wash out though). My roots are still orange so I refuse to wear my hair down. I dont know how im going to cope for the next 7 weeks until I get my hair done again. To be honest I am getting fed up with my hair as it causes so many problems. I am thinking about going darker but keeping some of the blonde in my hair. My hair is pretty long and I am worried that by putting brown over the blonde it will snap or go a funny colour. Will this happen? My hair dresser has told me that my hair is much stronger now that I have used leave in conditioners and hardly blow dryed it etc. I just wonder if by looking after it over the next 4 weeks (I want to get this done soon) it will get into good enough condition to darken. 1. From my experience. I was fed up with my white blonde hair. So i decided to dye it brown but since my hair was soo light it really didn't grab the color so it turned out funky
