Why do foreign guys who comes to the Philippines hook up only with the morena beauties?

I often see all kinds of foreigners in my country and often they choose dark colored Ladies the slimmest they can find and they seem to like only those dark colored completion. Im just interested to know why do you think so?

1. Because those guys consider those gals exotic beauty. The hotness of real pinay gorgeousness.
2. aside from the exotic beauty,they prefer pinays because, im sorry to say but, they are good chimays. because pinay women, when married, submit to their husbands.
3. I have a good Filipino friend (so you see, not only foreigners),and still a good family friend, prefers a morena Filipina. His opinion...specially now that almost if not many, Filipinas uses bleaching creams/soaps...being ignorant doesn´t mean it´s a bad person, they just don´t know better. anyway, his opinion is, he tries to imagine a fairer skinned filipina as morena, and mostly he says they are not pretty if they are morena. A pretty morena will still be pretty if she is faired skin, but he prefers morena ofcourse. Not all white/fair skin is beautiful, same as not all morena is pretty. Being slim only shows character and discipline health wise specially if one maintains it. Regardless of age, single or married, with or without children.
4. A white man who is worried about color doesn't come to the Islands. He goes to Europe. Color has nothing to do with why I love my wife. It had nothing to do with why I picked her when I could have at 58 had my pick and if the truth hurts wear it. I love her Dark golden Glow. I imagine I'm on a deserted Island with her like in the old mutiny on the Bounty movies. If I had met her mind in a large White Philippina that's where I would be. Actually at this decrepit age beauty is a very secondary matter to good health and good sense. Then you can have it all too. People are much too color conscious here.
5. Because they don't need to spend money to "tan" themselves. Lol! I'm one of those girls you call morena. I was born and raised in the Philippines. I used to think that light skin toned girls are pretty but when I got to the sates, most of the girls I see and know who are not dark complected/ morena would spend hundreds even thousands of dollars to tan themselves. Some even use those spray on tans that make them look orange. They say it's a lot more attractive.
6. The fat bold comment is about as narrow minded as every filipina seeking a foreigner for money.. truth is that does happen but its not the be all and end all. Im 34 not bold and not fat.. Im married to a beautiful filipina who you would describe as dark skinned where i would call her skin tanned. Truth is in the West being tanned is seen as healthy which is probably as just as much as a myth as in the East with White skin. Where people buy white soaps or take medication to whitten up the skin in the Philippines in the West people goto tanning salons to get tanned up in winter or put on what i call Tango`d which is an Tangy orange type of fake tan.

8. The REAL question here is why do most Filipino men discriminate or have prejudices against dark skinned Filipinas. Just look at the Philippine entertainment industry... how many dark skinned Filipinas do you see in lead roles in movies, tv commercials, billboards and even beauty pageants? Why the "white Filipina" trend you ask? Filipino men. Oh by the way, the same goes with Filipina women and their preferrence in Pinoy men.

11. For me, It does not have anything to do with skin color. My wife is a light skin filipina. The content of her character and clean/respectable reputation has first priority over all attributes. In the old testament of the Holy Bible, God say's, "I do not see with the eyes of mankind. Men judge through outward appearance,I judge the inner heart of men." 1 Samuel 16:7
12. it's exoticism. some foreigners find dark skin very beautiful... the cool thing about it is if they have kids, their kids would grow up to look like potential commercial models. come to the provinces in Central Luzon and you'll know what i'm talking about.
13. Well, I'm pinoy (although with some chinese blood running over it) but man, I dig morena chicks. A pretty morena sitting beside a mestiza, no doubt, I'd go for the morena. So, I think the question's kinda' sort'a generalizing. But you know, and as they say, its only "skin dip". Its the inner beauty that counts. Precisely, I ended up marrying a beautiful chinese mestiza.

15. Human nature - they're surrounded daily by fair-skinned women, and they want something for a change. Fair skinned people always desire that dark tan. Dark skinned people desire to be white. Matter of "grass is always greener on the other side of the fence". White people equate morenas as being exotic, i.e., living in a beach resort, with dark-skinned natives at their beck and call. Also, foreigners are sick & tired of western women with their attitudes and materialism. Very high-maintenance. They see Asian women and with their culture, they feel wanted. Most Asian women are also subservient, and that pleases the Kanos, who had been pushed around for too long by western women.
16. What is ugly in the eyes of the Pinoys is the gem of the foreigners. What is beautiful to us might not be that appealing to them, because they are already immune to the fair skin tone. So next time you see a super ugly girl, don't call her a panget, rather call her EXOTIC BEAUTY. Also if you notice those exotic pinays have a very handsome foreign boyfriend.

Join a Philippine related Yahoo group, then go to their respective files section, photos section, links section, etc and check all its contents or simply post all your questions and concerns on the board and chat with all the members. Obviously this does not apply for different cultures such as for example the west where a darker tome is preferred but then again, what would the Philippine cosmetic industry wish to maket to Pinays with their cinnamon complexion if not whiteners???
