1. Yes she did. Note this comment from her bio at zoom: Bathing Beauty was her debut film, and the renamed Janis Paige joined a sextette to sing "You Take the High Note" with Harry James and his band. Among the six were Red Skelton, Jean Porter, Helen Forrest and Carlos Ramirez.
